Introduction
Welcome to my new artist Blog. It is my pleasure to invite you into my mind, my passions and my soul. My art tells the story of my hopes and dreams. I hope you enjoy what you see.
My History
I have a renewed passion for art in my life. When I was a young girl, I loved sketching, sculpting and painting. My creativity with design at this early stage in my life was so second nature to me that my life and art were intertwined.
In my late teen years, I expanded my talents not only with art but also in the world of fashion. I not only designed garments for a high-end women’s boutique, but also later had a hand with the patterns and finally modeling my creations.
Like all artists and designers, in my college years, I study the great masters of antiquity as well as architecture. I considered myself a renaissance woman. Nothing was impossible and the only limitation on creation was I.
However, as we all know, life offers all of us choices or paths to be taken. Being a free spirit, love and eventually my family became my desires. Though my art still existed, my family was my life’s passion.
As the years passed, my life changed in so many ways. The wonderful people, places and experiences that I have had will be penned in my memoirs and with my paintings. I have now come full circle in my life. My art has again become center stage. Now, it is time to raise the curtains in this latest chapter of my continuing adventure and again let my love of life expressed in my creations.
Why I Paint
All artists paint for some reason. Their choice of subjects, styles and mediums are all subjective to the artists whim and if they are lucky, their patrons money.
I paint for me. I have always been a very passionate with all my life's endeavors. I believe that I bring my passions and free spirit to my art. As you can see, my subjects come from every day events or from my fantasies with a feminine touch. I never know what my paintings will look line until they are finished. Honestly, I have never been disappointed. I only hope that you will not be disappointed either.
I paint to calm myself, escaping from the physical world and into the spiritual. My dreams and fantasies are allowed to burst forth, giving me an emotional high. This high is so addictive to me that I want more. I cannot stop expressing myself. The colors of my mind are my pallet and the canvas is the mirror. I invite you all to gaze into my soul see my "reflections". I only hope the seduction never ends.

Intreasting works showing the two or multiple sides of a woman. The picture on the left is the calm and alluring woman who's wholesome image is calming to the emotions. The type that you just want to be gentle to. However the woman on the right is more of a free spirit and wild, just like the poised cat. Are you trying to say that the woman, like the cat gets or takes what she wants? Even the picture on the right with the fast moving water is another hint you provide of the untamed spirit of the woman. The picture on the left with the woman holding the leash on the cat with a gold chain is also interesting. Are you trying to say that she has things and herself under control? Or that the woman will chain the beasts (man's) heart? Wonderful metaphor
